Jacques Fath was born in France in 1912. Fascinated by fashion since his early years, the young designer opens his first Couture house in Paris in 1937. His unique and glamorous style brings him immediate success. Known for dressing the โyoung Chic Parisian โ, Jacques Fath attracts well-known and wealthy clients. Hubert de Givenchy, Guy Laroche and Valentino Garavani โ all worked as assistants in his atelier and later would form their own Fashion Houses. The perfumesโ saga begins with the launch of Chasuble in 1945. Later with the creation of Iris Gris and Green Water in collaboration with perfumer Vincent Roubert, Jacques Fath Perfumes become legend.

A Floral Musky fragrance
Jacques Fath liked to wear as trench a Loden jacket, emblematic of this period and usually in dark green color. He also used this particular, warm and strong woolen fabric to create dresses. The perfumer has recreated this contrasted sensation, both bristly and protective by using vetiver, a root with a very intense and solid woody character. It is a symbol of tenacity like the Loden. So a surprising and vibrant Ginger fresh, with sparkling Green Mandarin, Haiti Vetiver and Pink Pepper open the fragrance. These prickly notes play with spicy and dark Juniper berries, beating to the rhythm of Java Vetiver and Tobacco note and thickness and sweetness of Raspberry leaf absolute. To finally succumb to the deep embrace of Patchouli.

BEHIND THE SCENT
Luca Maffei is considered one of the most important young creators of Italian perfumes. Recently awarded in Los Angeles with the prestigious international recognition “The Art and Ol- faction Awards” in the Independent category, during his career he has designed over twenty creations for Italian and international brands such as Perris Monte Carlo, JUL ET MAD, Car- thusia. In contact with the world of essences since his childhood, he was โimmediately overwhelmed by the charm of the ingredients and the mysterious alchemy with which they combine” and he decided he wanted to learn more about this unique and wonderful world.
For Luca, the direction was different: to no longer rely on a classic pillar of the brand but to draw from a rich and varied olfactory panel, the most innovative and noble raw materials to create four feminine lines: Rosso Epicuro, LโOrรฉe du Bois, Les Frivolitรฉs, Lilas Exquis โ and also pay tribute to Jacques Fathโs โ joie de vivreโ.
