BEHIND THE SCENT
Born of Grasse in the family of perfumers, at the beginning Vincent Ricord wanted to study arts and music. But he found his destiny in another art form: fragrance composing. He created the Original Collection, the Magic Collection, and the Black Collection for HFC.
Vincent enjoys the contrast of sharing ideas on projects and briefs with colleagues and customers, taking inspiration from colours, artists, travel, food, music โ the process is full of rich information. He describes the creative process as: โBeing in the intimacy of a blank piece of paper and a pen, turning those emotions into a fragrance… Itโs a magical moment.โ
