How did you become a perfumer?
I knew I wanted to become a perfumer from the age of 17, but my curiosity started much earlier. As a child, time spent in Provence with my parents shaped my fascination with aromas. I studied chemistry and began working at the flagship store of L’Artisan Parfumeur, where I met Bertrand Duchaufour. After my shifts, I stayed late to learn more about perfumery. When Mark Buxton later called looking for an apprentice, my journey truly began. It’s been almost ten years since then.

What inspires your creations?
I love how nature creates the most beautiful smells, and how it is defined by contrast and complexity. My creations are shaped by adventure, time outdoors, the wind, and a sense of authenticity. I’m especially drawn to texture, so my work can feel cleaving or smooth, chaotic or peaceful, but it always seeks balance.

What’s your dream project?
Creating a fragrance for Amouage would be an incredible achievement for me.
